The next era of RS6

The second generation of Audi RS6 was launched in 2008. It was available as an avant and also as a sedan. It's 5 litre V10 biturbo engine produced 426 kilowatts(579 HP) at 6250 to 6700 rpm and 650 NM of torque from 1500 to 6250 rpm. It took the C6 RS6 avant 4.6 seconds to reach 100 km/h and the sedan was 0.1 seconds faster to 100 km/h. It eventually reached 310 km/h. A notable feature with this model was the Digital Audio Broadcasting - digital radio tuner with DVD-based satellite navigation and Multi Media Interface with optional hybrid digital/analogue TV tuner. The car itself weighed about 2025 kg, which is enourmous. The avant is named one of the best family/sports car in that section of cars, because it really provided room for the whole family and after 5 people were pushed into the car, you could even fit shopping bags and many other things into the car. All of these RS6 models get a high performance 4 wheel drive system from quattro GmbH, which is believed to be one of the best 4wd systems. The fuel consumption is a real shame - 13.9 litres per 100km. It's nice to have a 580 HP car in your garage, but I doubt that you will drive it around while trying to minimize the fuel consumption, so it's obvious that if you have that kind of a car, you will eventually push it and the fuel consumption will empty your wallet faster than you can earn it back. But it's not a big deal, as the sound and the emotions of riding this car are overwhelming.

There was also a RS6 plus model and they produced only 500 of them, but unfortunately I don't have any more information on it, but it's supposed to be faster and with greater additions. There's even a picture of it from a carshow:
