RS7 Sportback is one of the most courageous stunts done by Audi. At first, it may seem a little bit ugly and dull, but when you get used to its looks, it's actually quite a stunner. In my opinion, it's just magnificent and the bodywork is one of a kind. Ofcourse, the interior receives RS-specific elements as well, such as the flat-bottom steering wheel and a 320 km/h speedometer. Also unique to Audi's RS models is the color display in the instrument panel that provides information such as oil temperature, boost pressure, and a digital shift light that serves a gentle reminder that revs have reached their peak. And that is bound to happen often with this car, which houses a 4 litre twin-turbo V8 under its hood. Power is rated at 560 HP, served up from 5700 rpm, and maximum torque of 700 NM available from 1750 rpm. Torque is transmitted to all wheels through an eight-speed ZF-sourced automatic and quattro-drive system with an oil cooled center differential. From 0 to 100 km/h it takes the RS7 only 3.9 seconds with a top speed of over 305 km/h. Keeping all that power under control is a highly capable chassis. The RS7 is fairly easy to distinguish from its lesser A7 and S7 because of the characteristics of the RS line. The average fuel consumption for this model is only 9.8 litres per 100km. It is believed to cost around 100 000 euros when it arrives in 2014. If I had the money, I would even consider buying it before the RS6, but I don't.

Audi TT-RS aka the Baby R8
Audi TT is a small two-door sports car since 1998, available as a Coupe and as a Roadster. The Audi TT takes its name from the successful motor racing tradition of NSU in the British Isle of Man Tourist Trophy motorcycle race. NSU began competing in the TT in 1911, and later merged into the company now known as Audi. The TT name has also been attributed to the phrase "Technology & Tradition". As Audi has had 2 generations of TT-s, the TT-RS came out during the second generation, which was revealed in April, 2006. Audi TT-RS was available from 2009 in Coupe and Roadster variants, it was also the first ever compact sports car from Audi. Its 2.5 litre inline five-cylinder TFSI petrol engine develops a power output of 335 HP from 5400 to 6700 rpm and torque of 450 NM at 1600 to 5300 rpm. The TT-RS is only available with quattro four-wheel drive system. The RS emblem is spread all over the body of the TT-RS. The TT-RS has a fixed rear spoiler, optional Recaro RS bucket seats, Sport button, which sharpens the throttle response and deepens the exhaust note and a three-stage user-selectable ESP system. The TT-RS can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds for the Coupe and 4.7 seconds for the Roadster with top speed of over 280 km/h. As of 2010, the TT-RS is available with the 7-speed DSG automatic transmission capable of handling the torque delivered by the engine. The ordinary TT-RS is available from 50 000 euros. There is also a TT-RS plus version, which is more powerful and faster than the ordinary version. The TT-RS plus was launched in 2012, with an uprated version of the 2.5 litre, 5 cylinder, turbocharged engine. The engine outputs 355 HP, torque of 465 NM. It goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds with a limited top speed of 280 km/h. Customers can choose between a manual six-speed transmission and the seven-speed S-tronic with its lightning-fast gearshifts. The dual-clutch transmission comes with a launch control function which optimizes acceleration from a standing start. Both of these versions - TT-RS and TT-RS plus consume only 8.5 litres of fuel per 100km. The plus version costs about 56 000 euros.

Lotus Esprit
The Espree is a sportscar, which was built by Lotus in the United Kingdom between 1976 to 2004, as well the future Esprit, which will be released in 2014. It was unveiled at the Turin Motor Show in 1972 as a concept car and it was a development of a streched Lotus Europa chassis. Originally, the name Kiwi was proposed, but in keeping with the Lotus tradition of having all car model names start with the letter "E", the name became Esprit. There are 6 generations of the Esprit, the sixth is the 2014 model.
The S1 - it was launched in October 1975. With a steel backbone chassis and a fiberglass body, the Esprit was powered by the Lotus 907 4 cylinder engine, which displaced 2 litres, produced 162 HP and 190 NM of torque. The transaxle gearbox was a 5-speed manual unit. This S1 was said to have the best steering of any Esprit. It went from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.4 seconds with a top speed of 214 km/h. The car gained fame through its appearance in the James Bond movie "The Spy Who Loved Me", where it was featured in a long chase sequence, converting into a submarine.
The S2 - it was introduced in 1978. The most obvious of the changes made to this car was the intake and cooling duct "ears" located behind the rear quarter window, tail lights from the Rover SD1 and an integrated front spoiler. The S2.2 had an enlarged type 912 engine, which was 2.2 litres and which produced 217 NM. During the Series 2, the Essex Turbo Esprit was announced in 1980. This was the first factory turbocharged Esprit. The new type 910 engine produced 210 HP and 270 NM of torque. From 0 to 100 km/h it went in 6.1 seconds with a top speed of 240 km/h. The series 2 cars are extremaly rare as only about 200 of them were produced alltogether.
S3 - it continued to use the 2.2 litre type 912 engine of the S2.2, whilst the Turbo Esprit(S3) reverted to a less complez wet-sump lubrication system, retaining the power and torque outputs of its dry-sump predecessor. In April 1986, the final incarnations of the Giugiaro-styled Esprit were announced, with raised engine compression giving rise to the HC moniker. This increased the output of the naturally aspirated engine to 172 HP and 217 NM of torque for the Esprit HC and 215 HP and 298 NM for the Turbo Esprit HC, with the increased torque available at lower rpms.
S4 - in 1987, a new version of the Esprit was unveiled, incorporating rounder styling cues given by designer Peter Stevens of Mclaren F1 fame. The car's type 910 engine retained 215 HP and 298 NM, but decreased its zero to one hundred km/h to 5.2 seconds and a top speed of 240 km/h. 1989 came out the Esprit SE(Special Equipment), which's more powerful with horsepower of 280 available on overboost and 0 to 100km/h in 4.7 seconds with a top speed of over 260 km/h. Along with the SE, Lotus produced the little seen Esprit S, a midrange turbocharged car offering fewer appointments and 228 HP.
Now comes my favorite generation of the Espree - the series 5. in 1993, another exterior and interior revamp of the car resulted in the S5, which was the first model to include power steering. The S5 was succeeded in 1994 by the S5sport, which uppered power to 300 HP and 393 NM of torque, improving all around performance while retaining the comfort of the previous version. Top speed was increased to 270 km/h with 0 to 100km/h time of 4.6 seconds. Although the engine kept its 2.2 litre capacity, many modifications were added to improve engine performance. This car was to be the end of the line for the Esprit but a cancelled project for a front engine car had left Lotus with a compact V8 and no car to put it into, so in 1996 the Esprit V8 was revealed. It's 3.5 litre V8 engine featured 350 HP with zero to one hundred kilometres per hour time of 4.4 seconds and a top speed of 282 km/h. Esprit production temporarily ceased in 2004 with Lotus content on producing the Esprit with little development aside from minor cosmetic changes including a switch to four round tail lights for the 2002 model year. Currently a total of 10 675 Esprits have been produced. The S5 V8 consumes 13.3 litres of fuel per 100km . You can get one nowadays with a starting price of 20 000 euros.
There is also a series 6 car, which will go into production in 2014. Its engine is petrol, also available as a hybrid, with optional KERS from F1. It has a 5 litre V8 with power of 620 HP and 720 NM of torque. It goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds with a top speed of 330 km/h. Price will preferrably be around 125 000 euros. The fuel consumption is not known right now.

Rolls Royce Phantom
No car defines contetment, luxury, elegance and felicity better than Rolls Royce Phantom. Let's start off with the series I. The Rolls Royce Phantom is a luxurious saloon car made in the United Kingdom by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, which belongs to BMW. The series I was launched in 2003 and it uses a unique chassis platform, body, interior and retains the traditional Rolls Royce design cues. Features, as of 2009, include a navigation system with voice recognition, power sunroof, upgraded leather upholstery, rear-view camera, rear-seat DVD-entertainment system, 18-way power front seats, 5-zone climate controls and many other luxurious things. The hand built cabin is every bit as decadent and over-the-top as one would expect. Between 15 and 18 hides are used in each Phantom and every one is checked by hand for blemishes before laser equipment is used to assist in laying out the pattern pieces. The interior of the Phantom is made up of 450 pieces of leather, which are cut by a computer-guided knife. In keeping with Rolls Royce tradition, the Phantom uses an enormous naturally aspirated V12 engine, which displaces 6.75 litres and produces 453HP at 5350 rpm with 720 NM at 3500 rpm. It's rear wheel drive and it accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 5.9 seconds with governed top speed of 240 km/h. It consumes 20.2 litres of fuel per 100km/h. The prices start from 363 000 euros.
In May 2012, Rolls Royce came out with the Series II Phantom, which included some improved features like simplified dashboard with enlarged LED screen, simplified seat designs, improved audio, telecoms and connectivity systems and a new 8-speed gearbox. Unique cabin touched include reverse-hinged rear doors suicide doors, pop-out umbrellas hidden in the doors, hydraulic motors to close the rear doors and a power reserve dial insted of tachometer, which indicates how much of the engine's output is left available to the driver. Most of the engine and other basic parts remain the same. There are 4 different types of Phantom:
- The ordinary sedan Phantom, which my review was based on
- Phantom Extended Wheelbase, which has extra leg room in the back seats
- Phantom Drophead Coupe, which is a cabriolet coupe version of the Phantom
- Phantom Coupe, which is a 2-seater sportscar.
